NEW: 2022-Season Guaranteed Floor Pool
QSL has launched a new product - the 2022-Season
August Guaranteed Floor Pool.
The 2022-Season August Guaranteed Floor Pool features a
guaranteed minimum return, known as the 'floor', with opportunity
for increased returns should sugar prices rise during the season.
While the floor is set after nominations close, QSL publishes
indicative floor prices during the nomination period.
Key details:
·
- This is a
QSL-Managed Pool.
- Pool nominations
must be a minimum or multiple of 10 tonnes.
- Participants
receive a guaranteed minimum return.
In addition, pool participants receive 50% of any pricing
achieved above the pool's strike price.
Growers considering this new pool should read the Product Overview and full Pricing Pool Terms. Nominations can be made via the QSL Direct
portal or App. Need help? Get in touch with your local QSL team.
Expanded indicative pool results
We've changed the way we're reporting our pool
results, with gross actual results now incorporated into our
indicative pool prices. The change makes it easier to
compare pools results with current grower-managed pricing levels.

QSL appoints new Independent Director
Former auditor and partner at Ernst and Young, Mark Hayward
(right), will join the QSL Board from 1 September 2021 as an
Independent Director. Mr Hayward’s appointment has been made in
preparation for the retirement of QSL’s current Chairman Guy

Tax time reminder
QSL growers in Wilmar milling districts are reminded that our new
GST arrangements came into effect from 1 July 2021. As a result,
our previous tax treatment applies for any 2020 and 2021-Season
QSL payment made in the last financial year. Remember, the simple
rule of thumb is:
·
- Old Statement
Format = Old GST Treatment
- New Statement
Format = New GST Treatment
