Sam Torrisi

Sam has been a Director of CANEGROWERS Herbert River since 2009 and Chairman of the Stone River branch for over 30 years. He is also a Fire/Flood Warden and Officer of the Stone River Rural Fire Brigade.

Sam farms across various parts of the Herbert valley from Upper Stone, Fairford, Cordelia and Sunnybank subdistricts. Farming over different parts of the Herbert district gives him an appreciation of the various challenges facing growers, from dry and wet areas of the Herbert.

He strives to represent all our members throughout the district, to produce positive outcomes.
